Celebrating the Statue of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is the world’s greatest symbol of freedom. It was dedicated by President Grover Cleveland on October 28, 1886, in New York Harbor.

• In 1986, the U.S. Mint issued the Statue of Liberty commemorative Half Dollar to honor the statue’s 100th anniversary.  The obverse shows the Statue of Liberty.

• The coin in this collection is beautifully colorized to show the Statue of Liberty in its natural colors.

• In 2001, New York’s one-time-only State Quarter also depicted the Statue of Liberty.

• This coin is also included and is layered in 24-karat gold.

• The coins are privately enhanced in limited editions and are much scarcer than the regular coins.

• Also included is a Statue of Liberty stamp issued over 50 years ago on June 15, 1961. The complete set is featured in a custom display wallet and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
