* A set of four historic Jefferson nickels and vintage U.S. stamp.
* 2003 coins show the original portratit of thomas Jefferson. and image of Moticello.
* The Jefferson nickel was first minted in 1938 to honor Thomas Jefferson.
* Jefferson was third President of the United States from 1801-1809.
* Portrait was based on a bust made in 1789.
* The reverse shows Jefferson's home at Monticello in Virginia.
* 2003 coin was the final issue with the original designs.
* 2004 and 2005 coins had special commemorative designs.
* The regular Jefferson Nickel returned in 2006.
* 2006 coin was known as the "Return to Monticello" coin.
* The coin has a new portrait of Jefferson.
* It features the first forward-facing portrait of a president on a circulating coin.
* Portrait is based on an 1800 painting by artist Rembrandt Peale.
* The design also shows the word "Liberty" in Jefferson"s handwriting.
* Reverse features Monticello, but the details have been sharpened.
* Collection includes two of each coin, to show the obverse and reverse designs.
* Also included is the 20c Monticello stamp issued April 13, 1956.
* This is the only U.S. stamp to show Monticello.
* Stamp has been out of issue for 50 years but is in original Mint condition.
* The coins and stamp come in a deluxe wallet display with a Certificate of Authenticity.
